Catapult is the evolution of Conservation International’s Business & Sustainability Council, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2018. Catapult will not only continue to support businesses as environmental stewards, but will also enable further collaboration among companies, foundations and individuals who are committed to working with Conservation International on developing and deploying science-based tools and services for sustainability.

For more than 30 years, Conservation International has been protecting nature for the benefit of all. We do this through science, policy and partnerships with countries, communities and companies. We employ nearly 1,000 people and work with more than 2,000 partners in 30 countries. Our work is moving entire societies toward a healthier, more sustainable development path — so that we don’t use up today what we’re going to need tomorrow.

Our approach
We don’t focus on one sector or one issue. And we’re not interested in short-term fixes. Instead, building upon a foundation of science, partnership and field work, we find global solutions to global problems. Our ultimate goal is to protect the most fundamental things that nature provides to all of us: our food, our fresh water, our livelihoods and a stable climate.
