In continuation of the great conversations of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge’s Labor Collective Action Network, Conservation International and Rainforest Alliance will convene a workshop on July 31st at the McDonald's headquarters in Chicago, IL, bringing together companies and other stakeholders to learn and strategize about labor rights challenges on Brazil’s coffee farms. The workshop will focus specifically on the root causes of labor abuses in this region, and on opportunities for collective action to address those root causes. While this event has its roots in the work of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge’s Labor Action Network, it is open to any company or organization that is ready to bring ideas to the conversation and commit to action.
